A "Committed " People

Ps Chris Field

This issue of
Committed is full of new things. The launch of our 5 Year Plan, to achieve "Discipling 1,000" has everyone buzzing. Plus the start of a new year sees new programs, fresh themes and some new faces.

It’s great to see a "Committed" group of people who are pumping energy into so many things.

In these pages you’ll find reports on events that have taken place over the past few months. There is no shortage of good things happening around the place.

We have given plenty of space to our new sanctuary, new ministry programs and so on. There’s no escaping the fact that it’s a new season for us and FGAM Sundays are "bigger and better". A wonderful bunch of "committed" people have pulled together to enable all these new things to happen.

‘Missions’ is another strong focus of this issue. That’s because many of our "committed" people have been out and about in recent months, touching lives in many places. Special attention is given to our time with our sister church in Shepparton and the medical team that went to India.

But that’s not all! The special Elijah Challenge program stimulated many to become "committed" to the power of God. You’ll not only read about the teaching but also its impact on various individuals. And, to encourage you all in the things of God’s Spirit, Stephanie Ling’s testimony of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit not only introduces you to her, but builds on the other encouragements to connect with God in a special way.

As usual we have crammed a lot of photos of our "committed" people into these pages, since a picture says a thousand words.
And, just in case you think this issue represents all the things happening around the place we point out that many aspects of our church don’t even get a mention in this issue, even though they are moving along strongly.

Read and be encouraged.
