Creating Close Family Bonds (Tony and Sam Chin)

This workshop is designed to help parents create and maintain close family bonds with their children as they enter their teenage and young adult years. Practical tips and strategies will be shared to help families stay connected and engaged with each other, despite the challenges of busy schedules and changing interests. Parents will learn how to communicate effectively with their older children, how to create opportunities for quality time together, and how to establish shared values and goals as a family. Other topics covered will include managing conflict, fostering independence and responsibility, and staying connected even when children leave home. Participants will leave with a toolkit of ideas and resources to help them build and maintain strong, positive relationships with their older children.
