Philippines Medical Mission Trip
About PMMT
The Philippines Medical Mission Trip (PMMT) is an annual initiative organised by Full Gospel Assembly Melbourne (FGAM), serving communities in need since 2013. Each year, a dedicated team of Australian GPs, specialists, dentists, nurses, and non-medical volunteers travels to Manila, Philippines, providing free medical, dental, and optical care to thousands of people who would otherwise go without treatment.
Over the course of 10 days, the team serves in two impoverished communities, aiming to treat thousands of patients while also assessing and supporting the needs of a local orphanage. Every volunteer self-funds their trip, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly towards medications, medical consumables, hospital costs, eyeglasses, and vital clinic equipment.
All donations are tax-deductible, and every dollar makes a direct impact helping provide critical care to those who need it most.

PMMT 2025
In 2025, the Philippines Medical Mission Trip (PMMT) will bring together 51 Australian volunteers, including GPs, specialists (neurologists, paediatricians, geriatricians, psychiatrists), dentists, nurses, physiotherapists and non-medical support staff, to provide free medical, dental, and optical care in two impoverished communities in Manila.
Over 10 days from late April to early May, the team aims to treat at least 2,500 patients and assess the needs of a local orphanage. To support this mission, we are raising $51,000 AUD to fund medications, medical consumables, referral or hospital costs, eyeglasses and vital clinic equipment.
